Middle School Parents Please Note: 2012 players will be under the 25% rule for next season.  Since PIHL Middle School is a U14 league, only 25% of our Middle School roster can be second year U12 players per MidAm/USAH rules.  First year U12  players (i.e. 2013) and younger are NOT ELIGIBLE regardless of school grade.   Any remaining 2012s will still be eligible for Jr Planets or Middle School 2 (aka MS2). 2012 players are not required to tryout for Middle School to play Jr Planets or MS2 next season.

IMPORTANT: Please take a moment and make sure you have logged into your preferred SportsEngine (SE) Account Profile.  You will save yourself from major headaches later.

• This account should be a parent/guardian account (i.e. it should not be a player's account profile).
• You may want to add another email to this account profile. If that email is tied to another SE  account profile, SE WILL NOT let you add it.  Some may be registering different players with different clubs/teams using different SE accounts. 
• After clicking CONTINUE at the bottom of this page, you will select/add the player you are registering (i.e. do not register a parent/guardian). 
• Important communications and SportsEngine app access throughout the season will be  tied to this account.  Please ensure the account is tied to an email address that is checked/used regularly.

Registration Fees:

$150 registration fee + $350 commitment fee due at the first night of tryouts (please provide 2 separate checks made out to Mars Hockey).

Season Fee:

Total fee for the season including tryout and commitment fees above are expected to be approx $2,050 for Middle School skaters and $1,000 for Middle School Goalies.  The exact fee will depend on the number of players on the roster and some other costs which may be increasing. This DOES NOT include the cost of uniforms.

Important:

• Prior to tryouts, you will need to renew (after April 1) your player's USA Hockey # and send to Brian Crowley at marshockeyreg@gmail.com. You will receive several reminders. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SEND LAST SEASON'S USAH#.
• Any player new to Mars Hockey should bring a copy of their birth certificate the first night of tryouts.

Middle School Tryout Dates at Baierl Ice Complex:

Group assignments (A and B) will be communicated prior to tryouts

• Sunday, April 7 from 5:30pm - 6:20pm (Group A)
• Sunday, April 7 from 6:30pm - 7:20pm (Group B)
• Monday, April 8 from 7:30pm - 8:40pm (All)
• Tuesday, April 9 from 8:00pm - 8:55pm (All)
• Thursday, April 11 from 9:00 - 10:00pm (IF NEEDED)
